One of my client has a site developed in EE 1.6.8. suddenly they came to us that front end is showing errors like below in chrome and others:

No data received
Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.

I copied the database and files on my local machine and setup the EE and site works well. out of the EE folder things are working ok. Even in templates if I remove all the EE tags and only put the html they are working Ok.

Seems a kind of weired problem and first time I have noticed this in my 5 + yrs of EE development. Do you have any idea about this?

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

This sounds like the server is having issues. Can you contact your hosting provider and see if they see anything in the logs?

I think the answer will be there.
