Hi

I am completely stuck as to why my EE install after the upgrade to EE 2.5.3 suddenly does not allow any ?ACT anymore eg search (?ACT=2), sending off a contact form or login out (?ACT=10) from the front end.

All actions get redirected to the homepage.

No additional modules installed after upgrade.

my htaccess file includes just a basic redirect

RewriteEngine On 
RewriteCond $1 !\.(gif|jpe?g|png)$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f 
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d 
RewriteRule (.*) index.php?$1 [L]

Can you give the default recommended htaccess a whirl? There are subtle differences between yours and the following

        RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
        RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
        RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L]
</IfModule>

What extensions or add-ons do you have installed? Anything that would affect the URL like Structure etc?

Thanks, but no luck with the htaccess.

Site is mainly running as e-commerce with CT installed (btw the ct actions are working).

Hey Interfacer,

Just want to make sure that you updated all your Add-Ons.

Sounds like you might be hitting a 404 and if 404 pages has not been setup, the default is to send folks to the home page.

Please let me know about those Add-Ons.
