I’ve installed EE on Windows before, but I think it’s always been with Apache.

Can anyone personally vouch for Expression Engine being installed in a WIMP environment?

    Hey creativearc,

Thank you for posting your question.

I am not aware of an incompatibility with IIS, but I am not personally acquainted with the set up.

I would post this in the Community Help Forum, or I can move this on over there for you.

There will be more eyes on this post if it’s over in the community forum. Tech support is mostly viewed by EllisLab staff such as myself. 😊

    Cheers,

I have installed EE successfully under such an environment. The only real tool that I missed was mod-rewrite, but we plan to implement that with the following IIS module shortly.
