I’m trying to get safecracker working for my image uploads for my registered members. I’m also using image manipulation for the first time…short name is “page”. I have created the custom fields and changed them out in the template. I’m able to upload the images properly, they show up when I open up the entry to edit again.

They are just not showing up on the page as if the custom field did not exist.

    Sample: http://country-cooperative.com/index.php/vacation_rentals/about_test/mt._baker_lodging_inc/washington

Here is the code I am using

    <td width="270" valign="top" align="center">
    {d_about_page_image:page}</td>

    Hey Rik,

Thank you for posting your question.

I am not familiar with the way you are calling the image. Not to say it’s not valid, just not sure I follow.

Can you show me where you saw this usage?

    Thank you,

    Hey Rik,

Thank you for the info. I do not use the image manipulations that much. Forgot about that custom field notation.

What version of ExpressionEngine are you currently using?

Can you enable the template profiler and check the footer, it will tell us a bit more about why the image is not showing.

    Thank you,

    Shane -  v2.5.2

Can you walk me through how to enable the template profiler?

DOH! I always include that, but totally slipped my mind. Sorry Rik!!

To turn debugging on please go to your Control Panel and navigate to Admin->System Administration-> Output and Debugging. Please set the last two settings, which are “Display Output Profiler?” and “Display Template Debugging?”, to yes.

    Thank you.

    Hi Rik,

Now that those are set, just visit the page in question and look through the footer for where the image gets called. There should be some telling information there.

    Cheers,

    Hi Rik,

Enabling the profiler will make it so when you visit your site a bunch of information will be shown. This is only viewable by Super Admins that are logged in, so no worries about your visitors seeing the extra information. When you visit the page you mentioned here you will see a bunch of extra info, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a progression of what happened as the page was loaded. As the parser goes through parsing your template, it’s going to write to the screen what it does. In those steps will be why that image is not showing up.

If this does not make sense, and that’s okay, then I would love to login and break it down a bit more offline.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers,

Shane - this makes sense except that when I log in and go to the page there is no additional information at the bottom.
