I’m building a site where the client wishes to have a splash page before entering the site.
What is the best way to configure this within Expression Engine. At the moment I am using .htaccess to forward to a specific html page but it is conflicting with several plugins who are referencing the site url.
Any thoughts or advice?

Have you sent them links to any of the number of usability issues with Splash pages?

I hear you, definitely not an approach i have recommended to them but that’s what i’m faced with.

Any thoughts? How can I set something like this up with the EE CMS?
