Is EE2 compatible with .mobi domains?

I’m looking at purchasing another EE2 license in order to build a site that’s compatible with mobile devices. I’ll probably be using a .mobi domain name, which I’ve never used before.

Will EE2 be compatible with a .mobi domain, and will I be able to log in to the control panel from a regular desktop browser, such as Chrome or Firefox?

Are there any special suggestions to consider before deciding to use EE2 for mobile devices?

    Thanks!

    Howdy, Sarah-

ExpressionEngine doesn’t particularly care what your TLD is.  You should be fine to use EE on this project.

You might check out Devot-ee for mobile specific add-ons that might help you build your site, too.

    Does that help?

    Lisa,

That does help. I just wanted to make sure it was compatible before purchasing.

    Thanks!
