I updated an EE install from 2.3.1 to 2.5.3.

Now when I go to make a new post (content => publish), the “Add File” link is missing from my field. The field itself is there.

Note: On posts that already exist, the image link is there, and I’ve got the ‘remove image’ link.

I suspect there’s a file that didn’t get updated/replaced appropriately. Where is that stored so I can fix it?

Figured it out. The offender was the language file.

I restored my language files after the update, and that caused the problem.

Replaced files with new ones from the 2.5.3 zip and re-edited. Now everything’s back to normal.
