    Hi Amanda,

Testing on the latest version EE, which is 2.5.3, I didn’t encounter any issues allowing members with CP access and the proper permissions to moderate comments. If you’re still having trouble after updating to the latest version, could you let me know which permissions you’re giving this member group as well as the settings you have in place in the Channel preferences screen under Comments?

    Hi and thanks.

I have downloaded the last version but it doesn’t have admin, system (folder) or anything else inside it.

Here is what I have set it to, just so you can see.

Also, do you know of an easy way to update to latest version without having to upload new things via FTP?

    Thanks again!

    Kind regards
    Amanda

    Hi Amanda,

Sounds like you’re having trouble downloading the right software. Could you head over to this page and download ExpressionEngine 2? That should let you download a ZIP package will all the proper files in it. After unzipping, if you don’t see the files noted in the update instructions, then take a screenshot of the contents of the zip file so I can see the same thing you’re looking at.

    Thanks!

In fact I have done it…

I hadn’t allowed Add Ons access, only Add Ons > Modules access.

Found this in another post > http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/209429/

    Thanks for your help!

    Kind regards
    Amanda
