Hi all, I have a site coming up which needs an events section. I can’t see an add-on or module that will do what I want and may (Im assuming) need to be done bespoke.

Here is a brief overview of what I need it to achieve:

Events Section
• Calendar indicating events (allowing you to search by date)
• Registration cost - team or individual price
• Before submitting for the event there needs to be a section where the person registering can make a donation at registration
• Share icons
• Booking reference number
• Booking email confirmation
• Payments taken using Sagepay

I know there are add-ons such as this one: http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/moreevents, however it doesn’t do everything I want such as the calendar, donations and 2 tier prices.

Any ideas on how to achieve this?

You could look at:

Calendar module from http://www.solspace.com or Low events from http://www.gotolow.com to run event listings, then combine with Cartthrob http://www.cartthrob.com to handle payments.
