Is it possible to edit mailing lists through a frontend form? Members of the list would not be subscribing. The list would be maintained by an administrator, but I was hoping that the admin could add or remove names and email addresses and assign them to a mailinglist group from the frontend. It looks like the mailing list module doesn’t take names, only email addresses.

So ideally, there would be
1. a safecracker form to add name, email & mailing list group.
2. A display of the names and emails of everyone in each group.
3. A checkbox to delete old ones.

Is this possible?

I’m afraid not. The Mailing list management features aren’t intended to be used on the front-end.
