Thanks, I don’t currently have access to the old server. I did however back up the database and have all the images and anything else that was on the server. This is the part that concerns me. From your documentation;

login old server

mysqldump—opt -u root -p ee_seeds>seeds.sql
scp seeds.sql user@newserver:/path

Can I do it with out this step?

No problem. If you have a backup of the DB, you have the same thing.
