    I am building a simple website.
    Would this acceptable when NOT using the Structure module and using Pages module
    *site.group
    -index.html
    -400.html
    work.group
    -index.html
    about.group
    -index.html
    -projects.html
    -newsletter.html
    contact.group
    -index.html
    -thankyou.html
    blog.group
    -index.html
    -archive.html
    -feed.rss

    or

    Hi Frederick,

    Thanks for posting your question on the forums!

    When using the Pages Module, the URIs of your site are determined in the entry, not the templates. What this means is that you can use one template for “pages” that have similar layouts. You would only need to create a new template for pages that require a different layout.
