Setting Up Payment Plans?

I’m trying to setup 3 different payment plans and up until now I was planning on going with Membrr.  After reading some of the reviews on Devot-ee I’m a little hesitant to choose this and was hoping there was another solution for what I’m trying to do.

Are there any other options to setup payment plans for monthly/annual billing that are easier to work with?

I’m wondering the exact same thing. It looks like that’s the only integrated subscription service available and the reviews are weak.

The native Simple Commerce module does subscriptions, but it is PayPal only.

From what I can tell reading around—the options are such:

Membrr - $145, hassle to install, and requires 2 logins to operate, but has many features and gateways.

Simple Commerce Module - Free, PayPal only, lacks advanced features

CartThrob - $150, many features and gateways, but subscription add-on is not yet available (beta only).

Exp-resso - $150, many features and gateways, subscriptions will be added but not in the near future

Also, there is a system called aMember Pro—which looks very robust, but is separate from EE. They do offer an Expression Engine Plugin, but I’m not sure what that means exactly. I’ll look into it more:
