Hello,

For some unknown reason, my auto-XHTML paragraph tags are failing to appear.

I have a simple custom field with a Textarea default text-setting of XHTML.

I am not using any custom plugins or customs add-ons.

As an example, the following text is being rendered as:

B1 - Parallel Bar Dips B2 - Lying Supine DB Triceps Extension B3 - Standing Cable Rope Pressdown

Instead of this:

B1 - Parallel Bar Dips
B2 - Lying Supine DB Triceps Extension
B3 - Standing Cable Rope Pressdown

Which is how it was typed into the Textarea.  My line breaks are not being acknowledged and the tags don’t show when I inspect the code.

All other elements are being formatted correctly: h1, h2, et cetera…

Version is: v2.1.3 Build:20101220 <—Could this be the issue??

Hi Colin,

Yes, the version could certainly be the problem here, and I wasn’t able to reproduce it in my own installation. That version’s more than a year and a half old, so I’d recommend updating to the latest version as the first step in troubleshooting.

Once you’ve updated, let me know if you’re still experiencing this!
