I recently wanted to change “Entry Date” to “start date” so I created a custom language (english_custom) in the language folder. I copied the file I needed to translate to this new folder and edited it to use start date, however when I change the language to “english_custom” the changes don’t appear. Yet if I edit the same file in the English folder and change it to “start date” it works fine. Am I missing something here?

    Thanks

    Hello ACE/ARPA,

Thank you for posting your question here on the ExpressionEngine forums.

Where did you change your language settings? Note that there are two locations. The user’s localization settings and Admin > General Configuration.

    Please let me know!

    Cheers,

    Hello ACE/ARPA,

Awesome. Did you also change it in your user’s local settings as well?

    Cheers,
