This question may be related to a resolved thread.

What I’m looking for is an EE html/css editor with search/replace, color syntax that recognizes the EE exp tags and with some degree of {exp} tag auto-complete intelligence. Is there anything like this ether via EE plugin or (preferably) via plugin for any code editor like Notepad++, Textmate or NetBeans?

There is a package available for SublimeText that does a pretty good job of everything you ask and even has auto-complete for some of the more commonly used third_party tools.

    Sublime Text: http://www.sublimetext.com/
