I’ve upgraded a 1.6.8 version of EE to 1.7.1 a little while ago. Now I just installed an extension which doesn’t work and the dev asked me to make sure the jQuery module is enabled.

Looking on the module page, it’s not enabled or disabled… it’s not even listed there. That’s where it’s supposed to be right?

Is there an easy way to install the missing module? Hopefully without upgrading to latest 1.7.x…

    Thanks!

ok… Turns out, it’s an extension in 1.x… Not a module. I still didn’t have it installed though, so I took it from another EE install but didn’t have 1.7.1 available so I installed the EE 1.7.2 of the jQuery extension on a 1.7.1 EE install.

Is that as bad as crossing the streams? Or is my server going to survive this? 😉 (it looks like everything’s working fine now)

    Thanks!

    Hey minimal design,

I think you will be good to go. No worries.

If you want I can leave this open for a bit just to be safe.

    Cheers,
