Hi,

I’m trying to install EE 2.5.2 on a server that I have installed EE on many times before.  This time I am getting the following error when I try to access the installation wizard.

Warning: Unknown: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/lexia/public_html/admin.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/clearpea:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in Unknown on line 0

Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/lexia/public_html/admin.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in Unknown on line 0

The installation is below root but that shouldn’t be a problem.  I have contacted the host and have not heard back yet but php info indicates “no value” for open_basedir and I’ve never had this problem in the past with this host/

Any ideas?

Please disregard this.  There was an open_basedir restriction in place.  All is well now.  Thanks!
