I’m using the official means as stated here:  http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/general/remove_index.php.html  And I have nothing else in the htaccess file, just that.  I also tried the variation to force query strings, no dice.

It works on my dev site (hosted at MT), but once I pushed the site to production it no longer works (which is hosted at site5).  Site5 support is of absolutely no help at all….  Thoughts??

    Hey crzycode,

Unfortunately you will need to work with your hosting provider. Not all servers are setup to allow rewrite rules, they need to make this change for you.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do in the mean time.

    Cheers,
