If i have development, staging & production what will be the best way to handle it on EE? Can we achieve this easily using git by branching out?

For multi sites, can we have different templates for each domains? can we have different modules/plugins/extensions and languages for each domains?

If we have multiple product launches per year on one domain, can the entire layout for these articles designed differently?

How do I apply for trial license for core EE, multi site & forum.

What is the recommended IDE to develop/customize EE using CI?

    Thanks

    Hello noeclue,

    Welcome to the forums!

Thank you for your interest in ExpressionEngine.

Git is an awesome way to manage different environments. A lot of us use EE Master Config and find it to be an essential when managing multiple environments.

You are correct, when using multi site each website can be different and have it’s own look and feel. There are no restrictions on how you want to make the sites look no matter how many time you launch.

I will be contacting you concerning the Evaluation Copy.

There is no recommended IDE, it’s whatever you feel most comfortable using.

Please be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab.

    Cheers,
