    Hello,
    I’m experiencing very weird problems with one particular installation of EE v2.3.1 - Build: date 20111017
    after modifying some module settings like vwm surveys (It’s not only this one - it is the same with Ip to nation - I;can’t be installed)
    I’m always getting a blank screens and nothing has changed. Same goes for IP to nation module, which is 1-st party and a bunch of others.

    Is there something in the setting that i can changes to get these issues fixed. And what can be the general reason for this - EE, module or hosting specific settings??

    Hi vladyn,

    Thank you for posting to the forums!

    You say you are having problems saving some options in some modules, and unable to install others, is that correct?

    Are you logged in with a Super Admin account? If you aren’t a Super Admin, you need to make sure the Member Group has permission to install Modules.

    A Super Admin account should also see any PHP errors that are being produced. Other account levels would see a blank page.

    I look forward to your reply!

    Cheers,

    Hi vladyn,

    Let’s do a quick test. Edit /system/expressionengine/config/config.php and set:

    $config['debug'] = '1';

    Then visit your site, copy any errors you see. Edit /system/expressionengine/config/config.php again and set:

    $config['debug'] = '0';

    Post the errors you see with you reply and we can troubleshoot that.

    Cheers,

    Hey vladyn,

    Did you disable this Add-On? If so, was that before or after you got these messages?

    It sounds like you may want to backup your DB and then check on all your Add-Ons.

    Cheers,

    Yeah - things are running now. Unfortunately I didn’t got the reason of these errors. Thanks Shane. I don’t see any benefit of using this plug-in either, but that’s a different issue…
