Hi,

We’re ooking to use EE2 for a project that will reguire collaborative development in a dev environment, user acceptance testing in a stage environment and then deployment to a live prod environment.

Any suggestions on the best way to implement a staged development process in EE2 would be really helpful.

There are quite a few different ways of doing this.

Personally, I keep two different config/database files.
Simple.

I used this one: http://ee-garage.com/nsm-config-bootstrap

It’s advanced but easy to use. You may need some experiments to finally setup it.

There is an important principle in case you are not aware of it:

Codes always go up.
Database always goes down.
