    Hi,

I’ve set up a custom date field and I need to input dates from the 1700s.  When I try to save I get the error that the date you submitted was not formatted correctly.  Anyway around this?

    Running 1.6.0

    Thanks,

    Jim

I notice with version 1.7.1 you get an error that says the date is not within the acceptable range of 1902-2037.  In version 2.4.0 if you put in 1714 as the year the field just clears itself with no error message. Guess I’m not going to be able to use a date field for 1700s.

    Hello Jim,

You are correct, there are limitations to the date ranges.

I am not sure if there is a plugin that would solve this. I checked Devot://ee and I did not see anything.

I can move this to the Community Help Forum to see if anyone there has a suggestion.

    Cheers,
