Hi. I hope this is the right forum for this.

I set up a Virtual host with MAMP and Virtual Host X.

An then transferred an already made EE Installation to this new virtual host.

So far so good. The website is being display properly. But when I try to access the CP, instead of heading to the admin page the file /system/index.php gets downloaded.

I set up all the URL’s in the config & database file correctly. I also temporarily deleted the htaccess file so there is no interference with this. (I removed index.php)

But I can’t still access the CP.

Ideas anyone?

Hi Kaspar,

I’m sorry for the trouble you are having, but this has really nothing to do with ExpressionEngine per se.

It sounds like there is something specific to the way MAMP is *not* executing PHP.

I’m going to move this on over to Community Help for their advice.
