Hello,
My client just noticed his comments notification ends up in the spam folder of Gmail. It used to be fine, is there any way to avoid this?

click on mail and choose “not spam” button. That worked for me ...

first, get the IP of your server that’s sending the email out, and check the RBL lists
then read up on gmail and how it detects spam. It’s got something to do with the way you’re structuring your emails. It worked before, but those things are changing all the time.
I’m not at my PC right now so I can’t find the links, but there are sites where you can submit the body of a message and run it through a spam tester
