I am wondering how often a user clicks on the banner/text ads displayed on a site?
Most of the time text ads mention website name and users just copy paste on the new tab.
Then what’s the purpose of having those ads on our site ?

No purpose because I never click on ads!
To me the ad world has gone NUTS!

I think it depends on your website contents.
Different contents was read by different people.While different people have different behaviors.
In our site, http://www.ctutu.com , it is about 2.86%.

in my humble opinion,ads is also belong to parts of contents of a website,good ads can be benificial to your site,am i right,gentleman?
