    Hello,

we’ve implemented the Expression Engine Discussion Forum for our Developer Portal, but we still face the problem of SPAMing our forums. We use Captcha & Email verification for registration process. But somebody still sending some SPAM randomly…

Is there something like SPAM filter as a module or can we set review process for the Forum topics?

    Thanks you!

    Hi jiri,

The first and best thing you can do is to change your trigger word for account creation.

Change the member trigger URL: Go to your Control Panel and under Admin—>Members And Groups—>Membership Preferences and change the “Profile Triggering Word” to something that is not easily guessed.

You might also try Accessible Captcha which uses questions and and answers. Just another way to test for humans.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
