Control Panel Conundrum - Member Group unable to edit categories

    I am running EE 2.4 and MSM to manage three large sites. I have several user groups that require different levels of access on each of the sites. For the most part the member management works flawlessly, but I have one sticky point that has arisen with one group that cannot Edit or Add new categories, even though they are supposed to.

    Under Edit Member Group I have selected the correct site and member group and set the following:

    Channel Posting Privileges > Can edit and add new categories is set to Yes
    Channel Posting Privileges > Can delete categories is also set to Yes

    However, when logged into the site as that user when I try to add or edit a category I get the following error message: You are not authorized to access this page

    Is there some other privilege that needs to be granted before this can happen? If not, why the error and how can it be resolved?

    Under Admin>Channel admin>Categories - category group prefs make sure the member group has priviledges set ther 😊
