    Hey guys

On an MSM site where both sites use the exact same HEAD-code (it’s a shared template), and the same channel text editor (WYGWAM), I’m getting different code output for swedish letters å, ä, ö on the second site, but not on the first.

The letters are rendered in the source code as “å” and so on which is perfectly normal and works just fine. But sometimes and seemingly by random some letters are rendered in unicode (like a&#778 = å) and similar, even within the same paragraph. Thir results in the dots over the letters being offset to the right with about 3 pixels.

See attached source code screenshot for an example.
The test site can be found at http:// popomax . glimmis . com

I’ve never seen this before. Could it possibly be a server setting error, or is it somehow EE-related?

    Best
    /André

    ——UPDATE——

The error seems to affect Verdana only. When changing to Arial the error goes away.

I suspect that my client has pasted parts of the text (i.e. the text affected) from another text editor, and that the unicode letters originates from there.
I shall investigate this further! I’ll let you know how it goes 😊

    Hey André,

What you’re experiencing is definitely weird. I think you’re on the right track in thinking that it might be an issue with pasting from another editor.

Please let us know what you do find.

    Thanks!
