I’m trying to ugrade from 2.1.0 > 2.4.0 and the upgrade wizards appears to get stuck. It’s been refreshing with the following message for 15 minutes…

    Hello blg002,

It sounds like it’s not going to finish. Go ahead and interrupt it and then see where the update stopped and then update this post. We will go from there.

    Cheers,

    Thanks Shane,

Dan has actually already been in touch and has moved this to a private thread.

To answer you question: I have already stopped and reset config.php but I seem to remember $config[‘app_version’] being at 211 most of the time (I tried the upgrade a few times).

I did have a thought last night that I wanted to share here. We have a somewhat verbose .htaccess file. When I tested the upgrade locally and on a staging environment (without issue) that .htaccess was mostly gone. Not sure if that could have anything to do with it but it’s a thought.

Just wondering if I could get an update on this. And also wanted to make sure nothing was touched without prior notification.

    Hey blg002,

I did not realize you were in private support! That’s awesome.

    Pascal is one great guy!

I will leave you in Dan’s capable hands! I have bugged him to update you, which I am sure he already has!

    Cheers,
