Hi,
My EE says: An ExpressionEngine version 2.2.2, build 20110801 has been released as a security release. The latest version is: 2.2.2, and the latest build is: 20110801.
When I check at https://secure.expressionengine.com/download.php, I see:
Current Version: 2.4.0 - Build: 20120123
Can I without problems upgrade from 2.2.1 to 2.4.0?
And where can I find the license number on the EE control panel?

Hi Martin,
ExpressionEngine 2.4 is the current release, but 2.2.2 was released as a security update to 2.2.1, hence the notice.
You can indeed update directly to 2.4. You can find your license number under Admin->General Configuration
