    Hi All,

I have a problem with listing categories. This is where I am so far…

I want to create a sidebar on some of my pages, this sidebar needs to contain a list of categories relating to the page and all the sub-cateogories that are one level deep. Underneath each category there needs to be a listing of links (pulled from any entry that has been assigned to the category - these are stored in the Matrix fieldtype). So the structure would look like this:

Parent Category (this has the same name as the second segement in the url)
      Child Category
Link (pulled from Matirx in entry)
Link (pulled from Matirx in entry)
      Child Category
Link (pulled from Matirx in entry)

Any help, or any suggestions on how to do this a better way would be very appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Dave.

    Hi Un.titled,

I’m sorry that you are having trouble with getting your categories to work they way you want them to. Do either of the add-ons listed above work for you?

    Hi All,

Thanks for the advice. I actually managed to get the effect I was after by using a combination of seg2cat and the EE category loop.

    Many thanks,

    Dave.

Nope I think I’m sorted for the meantime.
