Which EE tag should I use to sum the numbers in a column of a table listing several entries, one per line, and getting a total value on the bottom of the table?

I’m not sure that could be done with native EE tags, but would involved either some PHP or you could use an add-on to perform the same function the PHP would provide. There are several add-ons for this purpose, each with their own feature set. You can have a look at these “math-related” add-ons on devot-ee.com.
