I’ve a mailing list subscription form on my site. Recently, it seemed to be hit by ‘legit’ spammers? I would get a notification email that this address has opted in, but when sending out, it turns out to be a non-existent address? Is that possible with the opt-in function?

Gosh. I just realised how this happened. It was a non-opt-in mailing list function in a Freeform form on the site..! Case closed!
