Hiya,
I’ve never installed an EE forum before. Can someone simply tell me whether I can display custom member fields in the forum, without running the forum via standard EE templates?
Cheers,
Calan

Hi Calan,
Thanks for posting your question. Unfortunately you will have to run the forum via standard templates if you wish to use custom member fields. Is there anything else I can assist you with?

Hiya,
Thanks, okay I’ll do that.
I have to say, having now installed it, that this is some of the most awful markup I’ve seen in a long time. Given the cost of the product, I’d expect this markup to be a little more modern.
I’m completely overhauling the theme but the overuse of tables and superfluous divs has made this take quadruple the time it should’ve. Surely EE could get a front-end guy to neaten this up a bit?
Even the population of pagination links is different from EE core. What’s with wrapping every page link in a div?!
Not fun at all.
Rgds,
Calan
