    Hello,

I’m working locally on adding captcha to a site, and everything is working except that the images are not appearing in Firefox only. Safari and Chrome are displaying the images.

    I can’t locate a solution. Any thoughts?

Running EE 2.4 and I’ve gone through the captcha troubleshooting. Folder is 777.

    Hello sjc80,

That is pretty odd. Sorry to hear you are running into this.

You are able to view it successfully in other browsers, so the server end is good. We know that GD/GD2 is there and the Captcha rendering is working.

When you say locally, are you using MAMP, LAMP, WAMP, or some other variant?

I would like to reproduce, but I myself only have access to MAMP and LAMP. Would you mind telling me what version of FF you are using?

Excuse my answering your question with more questions. 😊 I will do what I can to get you on your way.

Let me know what you find and we can go from there.

    Cheers,

    Hey Shane,

It is weird. I’m using MAMP and FF 10.0.2.

    Hi sjc80,

I’m afraid I wasn’t able to replicate using MAMP, FF 10.0.2 and ExpressionEngine 2.4

Have you verified the path and URL to your CAPTCHA folder? Although that seems like a long shot give that only FF is causing you trouble. Have you cleared out the browser and EE caches as well?

    Cheers,

It all works as of this morning. I thought I had cleared the cache a million times. Maybe I hadn’t or the Fox simply needed a break over the weekend. Thanks for the responsiveness. You can close this out.
