My control panel - while accessible- has lost what I believe are the jQuery UI enhancements.

    - hide sidebar & show toolbar do not work
    - click to create note pad entry does not work
    - post tabs - Dare, Categories, Options do not open
    - error messages at top (w green & red ) do not appear on success or failure.

    specs 2.3.1 with MSM 2.1.1

    recent installs include:
    Cartthrob
    NSM Better Meta
    NSM Morphine

Jquery module is active. (but it does not work when inactive either…)

Other than re-installing the entirety of EE 2.3.1, is there any path or setting required for jQuery in CP to be active?
    Anything else I should check?

So it was working ok- you didn’t upgrade or move or anything like that- and the js suddenly stopped working?

If so- the first thing I’d suspect is Morphine, as it is all about style and javascript.  Is there a way you can temporarily remove it- just to identify for certain whether that’s the problem?  This thread was somewhat similar- and I suspect flipping Morphine off/on may have fixed his issue.  In any case- try removing it, let’s see if it gets the CP working and we can go from there.

I tried the turn Morphine off and on option already
by using uninstall link in the accessories page.

    —didn’t work.—

Will do a full manual uninstall on it and I will also try garden variety’s voodoo fix.

    It’s definitely a missing JS issue…

dreas- if that doesn’t do it?  Check if it’s throwing javascript errors and post them back.  Also- I just want to confirm, you’re using the default theme, correct?

re uploading entire themes folder seems to have done the trick.
Of course NSM Morphine is in the third_party themes folder.

Odd one, dreas.  But glad that seems to have done the trick.  If you do run into any more issues?  Definitely let us know and we can take a closer look.
