    Hi,

    Just a quick question.

I’ve just purchased my first commercial licence and notice when I completed the install and log in via the control panel at the bottom of the Control Panel screen is says:

    ExpressionEngine Freelancer v2.4.0 - Build: date 20120123 - © Copyright 2003 - 2012 EllisLab, Inc.
Script executed in 0.0375 seconds - 20 SQL queries used

Is it correct that it says Freelancer when the licence I’ve purchased is a commercial one?

    Help much appreciated.

    Regards

    Rob

No, that is not correct.  Did you download the full version files for this installation?

Also moving to tech support. =)

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for getting back to me and I’m afraid to say I’ve made a schoolboy error! In fact the problem was caused by me copying the files from my existing Freelancer version and using the commercial licence key!

I’ve now just downloaded the commercial version of 2.4 and will re set up using this tomorrow.

Whilst I’m here can I take the liberty and ask another licence related question?

I’m going to need my clients live site and a local (on my machine) development plus test environment I’m presuming that this is within the licence agreement?

Thanks for the quick response to my initial question.

    Regards

    Rob
