I am building an events feature on my ee site and I need some help figuring out how I need to proceed. I have done some searches but have not found any module/extension/plugin that does exactly what I am trying to accomplish. Hopefully someone can chime in with some idea how I could build this.
Here is what I need.
An events calendar. Got this no problem.
RSVP. Ditto, should be no problem.
Possibility to take payments for the event if needed.
Check in, Check out of Facilities and/or equipment. This is where I hit snag.
When a user creates an event, they reserve a specific room and or equipment. These specified rooms/equipment now become unavailable for the specified time. Any suggestions on how to turn on and turn off the availability of different entries? I can’t do it with statuses because it will turn things off and on across the board.
I am currently using Solspace for my calendar and Cartthrob for my cart. I also am using Playa.
