I already created custom fields manually, then I saw the check box with the description :
“Auto-generate custom member fields for any elements that do not match a default member field”
Will this populate the fields I created (that match), create new ones or give an error?

Hi kokako,
If the XML elements match the names of your custom member fields, it will import the data into those fields. Any elements that do not match will have additional fields created for them. You shouldn’t receive any errors.
