Stupid simple question I am sure but I am new to EE and optimization so please excuse me.

I am working through the “Optimizing EE” documentation and am trying to cache templates.

It says that it is time based “in minutes” and I am hoping someone here might briefly explain what a standard time would be for this setting?

Basically, how do I know how many minutes I should set this to?

    Thanks!

Use Template Caching (2-10 minute caching on the heaviest hit pages and 10-60 minute caches for “static” things such as header/footer usually works well), goto Templates > Template Preferences Manager and Enable Caching.

above is also mentioned at Optimize EE
