Hello,

As the title says when trying to upgrade from 2.2.0 to 2.4.0 I got this failure message:

Error Number: 1091
Can’t DROP ‘site_id’; check that column/key exists
ALTER TABLE `exp_sessions` DROP `site_id`

I got no idea at all what this means, so any help would be appreciated.

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

Can I get a little history with the site?

Was this the first update, or had you updated before this to 2.2.0? What version were you at before 2.2.0?

We have some troubleshooting directions for a failed update. If you are in a pinch you can follow those directions and that will usually solve the problem. If you can wait a bit, then post back here with the answer to the question I asked above.

I managed to upgrade the second time I tried (after restoring the DB).
