We are assigning unique member groups to our MSM sites; we don’t want group members to be able to access each others’ sites. The assignments are made in the access preferences for the default template.

When a member of Group A attempts to log into Site B, however, they receive the “You are now Logged In” message.  They are then redirected to the login page (which is how the default template permissions are configured).

I realize this is an accurate message: the Group A credentials are valid, just not for Site B.

Is there any way to modify this message?

    Thanks.

    Hi John,

What version of ExpressionEngine and MSM are you using?

Custom System Messages might give you some relief. It is MSM aware and allows you to use standard ExpressionEngine tags in those specialty templates. My idea is that you could do a check on the logged in member group and display/redirect accordingly.

    Cheers!
