    Good day,

I am working with an auto dealership client, and they need to regularly log into the EE system and input new vehicles, or modify existing ones.

This is what my client login area currently looks like:
    http://www.screencast.com/t/CgFWSz0kDX1

Ideally I’d like to get rid of the “Modify or delete” and “View” columns, and instead just have large buttons that say “Add New Vehicle”, and “Edit Existing Vehicles”.

Is it possible to do this with the EE system or some add-ons?

    Thanks for reading!

    Hi,

Maybe you’ll find almost what you need with
    DashEE!

It’s about complete re-organisation of the CP.

I did not test it yet, so if it works well, ans you find me somewhere on the forums, let me know 😉

So, how did dashEE work out?

I am faced with the same problem - the default EE back-end is just way too confusing for my clients.  They will never be able to learn or remember how to use it.  I really need to trim it down to a few simple options such as “add a news item”, “edit an existing news item”, “add a new FAQ”, “edit an existing FAQ”, etc.
