Hello,
we’ve just set-up the self-activation feature in the membership section of the CP, but our client wants members to receive a custom text.
We thought that this could be easily achieved by editing email_data.php file, but when we edit the message nothing changes, and pending members still receive the standard message.
Is there a way to override the standard membership messages (self-activation, forgot password, etc.) without using a third party plug-in?

Just forget this really silly question and close this thread, pleas. All I had to do was just editing this template from the CP:
Design > Email Notification Templates > Member Account Activation Instructions
