Hi everyone,
We need to implement a doctor search on a website that also maps pins to Google maps. I found another EE site that has the same functionality: http://energysavepa-home.com/wholehouse/home-energy-expert
Has anyone else implemented this before? If so, what plugins will help make this work?
We are going to have a Channel of doctor entries.

I use this addon for a similar business listing plotted on a map:

Works well for me. Make sure to refer to the website documentation though, the examples in the plugin itself once installed are the older version, so took me some time to get to work because of this but once I knew, it worked well.

This is Justin Kimbrell from Objective HTML and just wanted to touch on this thread.
I just updated Google Maps for ExpressionEngine to v3, implementing a lot more features. I just updates the documentation and example in accordance to the new version which will be officially released this week (hopefully today or tomorrow.)
I also updated the examples to eliminate any confusion. I have spent the last 6 months developing the new version, thus the minor details like updating examples were overlooked.
v3 will be a commercial add-on and v2 will no longer be supported. I am going to leave it on Github for those wanting a free solution, but I highly recommend upgrading to v3.
