I would like to set the blog up at site.com/blog so I would create the template group “blog” and then use the index file to display summaries, but if I create another template in the “blog” template group and i name the new template “entry” my url would be site.com/blog/entry/entry-title-here.. is there any way to have site.com/blog/entry-title-here instead?

You can use the same template for a summary or a single entry article by using “entry-title-here” as a url segment variable then using a conditional to test for it being there (or not) and outputting accordingly.
