I’m using an Accordion menu script on my website that requires me to add a string (ie. ?headerclass=0) to the url if I want a specified section of the accordion menu to be open when I click a link.

I understand that I can’t simply add the parameter to the url in my code, because of how EE handles them. Is there a way I can add the string to my links?

Here is the link to the info about the Accordion script I am using.

Adding a query string to your url just to have a section open hardly seems worth the effort. I’d suggest looking at better options such as jQuery UI’s accordeon script jqueryui.com/demos/accordion/ , another option is this one http://www.i-marco.nl/weblog/archive/2010/02/27/yup_yet_another_jquery_accordi

Thanks for the links. I used the script on the second one which is a much better solution for ExpressionEngine.
