    This question may be related to a resolved thread.

    Please see screnshots for the problem. There is no real error displaying, but it seems that the EE tags are not parsing for the file manager and end up like this:

    Showing ${pages_from} to ${pages_to} of ${pages_total} files.
    {{if pagination_needed}}{{html previous}}{{html dropdown}}{{html next}}{{/if}}

    Clicking on upload doesn’t work either.

    I am using the following add-ons that may be related:

    * Wygwam 2.3.5
    * Matrix 2.2.3.2
    * Playa 3.1.1
    * Freeform 3.1.1

    EE is 2.3.1 Build 20111017.

    I have synchronized all folders except one; must I synchronize all of them?

    I’m also getting this errors in my console. I just upgraded to 2.3.1.

    index.php:289Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'getIndex' of undefined

    jquery.js:38Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined

    12event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will be removed from the engine in the near future.

    index.php:291Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'getConf' of undefined

    18event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will be removed from the engine in the near future.

    I fixed it; I cleared my cookies and it worked.

    Long version

    The older version of EE stored cookies differently and that triggered the (apparently by the CI community) dreaded invalid key value error in a file that included both the date and file picker plugins.

    Since the JS for these two did not load, they didn’t work at all causing errors when other scripts tried to access them. It was weird that the popup showed at all, but I figured that the popup mechanism must have lived outside of the affected scripts.
