Hello,

I’m having an issue with my CP - it seems to have popped up out of the blue?! When I try to go to ‘Template Manager’ or ‘Synchronize Templates’ I’m getting an error -

” An Error Was Encountered
The name you submitted may only contain alpha-numeric characters, underscores, and dashes screen copy “

v2.2.2 - Build: date 20110801

I can’t figure out how to rectify it ... any help would be greatly appreciated!

*Edit** - I tried updating to latest EE but the problem still persists! Although clicking ‘Template Manager’ tab just opens my home page now?!

Well the problem has been righted but it stills seems a little odd.

I think it may have been caused when I changed Word Separator for URL Titles from underscore to dash.  All of my templates are set to ‘Save as files’

After a couple of hours of getting nowhere, I haphazardly looked at the template directory via FTP - I changed default_site to default-site, which broke the site so I switched it back ... then all of a sudden the Template manager was working again?!

Not sure if it’s a bug but I figured I’d share in case it helps anybody in the future…
